Now that you’ve chosen your house design, you and your builder will need the plans. We offer a variety of format options and add-ons to ensure that you have everything you need to get started on the next phase of your new home construction project. Let us know what you need -- we’re here to help!
We currently offer electronic PDF format but if electronic CAD (Computer-aided design) is needed please contact us us today.
One of the more popular options is the electronic PDF format because it’s the quickest way to receive your house plan. When you choose this option, we email you digital files of your plan. It is important to note that you won’t be able to modify your plan and it can only be printed.
Optional Add-ons for Your Plan
If you find a house plan you like that needs modifications and/or add-ons, you can fill out a plan modification request or contact us directly. Depending on what you’re looking for, we can also show you similar plans that may have the features you need. Either way, we’ll make sure your new house plan is perfect and ready to build.
A plan reverse is when your plans are redrawn to be flipped from the original version. This is often referred to as a “right-reading reverse plan,” where the right side of the home is redrawn on the left and the left side on the right.
Many house plans will not include a crawl space and this will need to be added. Crawl spaces are designed with a floor truss system supported by a stem wall and are typically used in colder climates with high moisture levels. The benefits of a crawl space are it helps support the home from excessive water build-up and expensive damage. Plus, it allows easy access to utility areas underneath the home in case there are any needed repairs or hookups.
Additional Plan Sets
If you need additional plan sets, you may request when you purchase a plan or within 6 months of purchase.
